West Brom has not started off well in this 2020-21 Premier League campaign as they lost against Leicester by three goals and were smashed five by Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton. Now they are off to face Chelsea who have defeated Brighton in their first game with a 3-1 scoreline and lost to Liverpool 2-0 as Sadio Mane netted twice.
But in the Carabao Cup, Chelsea racked up six goals aided by Kai Havertz’s hattrick and impressive performance by Mason Mount. They will be eager to hammer West Brom too. But things aren’t like this, in reality, Lampard is yet to find his best possible formation and his preferred starting XI. The incoming goals from the players will help him to finalize his team and decide if he will go for a more balanced or attacking formation seeing the woes of West Brom.

TEAM NEWS
Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell made their Chelsea debut in the Carabao Cup game a few days back and Lampard might use any one of them in the defence if things are under control.
Thiago Silva has more chances to play as Lampard doesn’t want to rush Chilwell back after his injury. He would rather give more time to Thiago to settle as he is an important piece of his puzzle to conquer the League.
Both Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyechwon’t be available for this game. But Lampard will get the services of Christensen after he was suspended for the match against Barnsley.
With the form of Kai Havertz and Timo Werner in the attack, Chelsea should at least win the away match with a margin of three or more goals.
