Sarri’s thought on last Night

After a scintillating draw against Liverpool courtesy a stellar goal from Sturridge, Sarri had a lot to talk about. Let’s have a look on few.

On the Game

“I am disappointed that Liverpool scored in the last minute but I am really very happy with the performance.

I think the draw was maybe the right result but I have to say, today’s match was wonderful.”

On Eden Hazard

“ I think he can score 40 goals in a season, not only in the league.”

“He needs another 33 and he is trying to do that. I’m happy with Hazard but I’m also happy with the rest of my team and I thought today our defence was very good.”

On other forwards available

“In this moment, I want to use Giroud and Morata as I think it is important in this part of the season.”

“Giroud is very important for his team-mates and today, I thought Morata was much more aggressive with his play.”

“We also have wingers who can score too, so I’m not worried.”

On being there at the top

“That is our main aim. It is not easy to get into the Champions League but we have to try, of course.

“We have to try and stay close in the table with the other teams and then we have to continue to improve.”
