La Liga giants FC Barcelona are reportedly eyeing up moves for Chelsea duo Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen on free transfers next summer.
Ever-increasing troubles on the financial front for the Camp Nou outfit have meant that they could be forced to scout the transfer market for players who could be brought in for free.
The deals of both Azpilicueta and Christensen are ending next summer and despite the talk of Chelsea reaching out to the centre-back pairing for extended terms, there remains considerable speculation over their future at Stamford Bridge.

Reports from Spanish news outlet Fichajes suggest that FC Barcelona have zeroed in on the defensive duo as top targets for the next summer’s transfer window with Ronald Koeman keen to improve upon his existing options at the back.
Christensen, however, could be in line to pen a long-term extension with Thomas Tuchel’s camp with the Chelsea boss pushing for another of his star regulars in Antonio Rudiger to sign a new deal amid Real Madrid’s growing interest in his signature.
