Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich convinced Eden Hazard can rediscover potential on Chelsea return

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly convinced that his former star player Eden Hazard can rediscover his lost potential should he make his way back to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have been backed to make contact with Real Madrid over the possibility of re-signing Hazard two summers after he left the Chelsea camp to sign for the La Liga heavyweights in a big-money deal.

Hazard’s time in the Spanish capital city has been a flop on many fronts and speculation is rife that the Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is keen on landing the Belgian international forward next summer.

Reports from The Daily Mail claim that the Blues owner Roman Abramovich is ‘increasingly convinced’ that the 30-year old forward can return to his very best in front of the goal with a return to west London in the Chelsea colours.

Hazard was a star turn for the Blues during his time in England’s top flight and was considered one of the best players in world football before he made the move to the Santiago Bernabéu in the summer of 2019.
