Is Chelsea ready to rise up their bid to match the price for Osimhen?

The French giants who are now in the search of a top striker to replace Mbappe have earmarked Osimhen as their prime target allowing for an imminent bidding war to take place. Chelsea have held negotiations with Osimhen’s agents to have the deal completed, reported. The blues are either to reach the summit, but depending on the buy-out clause, offered by Napoli. The 25 years old, who won a 2019 African Footballer of the Year award, may prefer England as his destination rather than France, where Ibrahimovic has also played and was considered a legend.

It is rumoured that Chelsea are ready to pay the sum of up to £111 million for Osimhen but their sky high aims are taken down by their current situation on the table. However, the Blues sit 18 points behind Aston Villa in the quest for Champions League qualification with only 13 games left to the season.
