Chelsea have agreed a deal with Crystal Palace to secure the signing of Michael Olise this summer, as reported by RMC Sport.
The player has given his consent to a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge and is poised to rejoin the club after progressing through their youth ranks on his journey to professional soccer.
The transfer is anticipated to involve a fee of approximately €40 million.
Having spent time at Chelsea’s academy from 2009 to 2016, Olise later moved on to Manchester City and then Reading. It was at Reading that he marked his entry into senior football.

Olise secured a spot in Palace’s main lineup, establishing his presence in the Premier League as an electrifying forward. In the previous season, he contributed with two goals and 11 assists across 37 Premier League matches.
However, his participation in the current season has been hindered by an injury sustained while representing France in the European U21 Championship.
Despite encountering multiple injuries after his breakthrough, Chelsea remains optimistic about his ability to overcome them and realize his considerable potential.

Chelsea’s requirement for an individual capable of unlocking opposing defenses is fulfilled by Olise, who possesses this valuable trait.
With the addition of the Palace attacker, the Blues are aiming to extend their summer spending, as they’re actively seeking a goalkeeper to fill the void left by Kepa Arrizabalaga’s departure.
