Cesc Fabregas’ future with Blues?

Cesc Fabregas, who is known for his passing and keeping the ball in play will find it tough to reserve his spot in Sarri’s team, considering the specifications of his style. Sarri always wants to press the midfield strong and for that, it requires players like Kante and Jorginho with a substantial amount of speed and stamina.

Fabregas who was injured during the pre-season will have to fight for his place. Considering the form the midfield trio of Kante- Jorginho and Kovacic are in, Fabregas is expected to be on the bench most of the times. We may see him performing against the lower rank sides when the Boss rests Jorginho to avoid subjection’s on Jorginho’s injury.

Jorginho, who came in with Sarri has already had an impact and has been breaking records. Surely, the Italian has taken the place of Fabregas which has made his presence in the playing XI dicey.

Will Cesc Fabregas depart after his contract ends this season? Or will Chelsea have a cut in his wages? Does Chelsea really want a player like Fabregas?

Yes, he may not be fast and have a lot of stamina that Sarri requires, but the 31-year-old has a lot of experience playing in the premier league, and his leadership skills will surely prove a stand-out for him and the team. Apart from his experience, the midfielder is an excellent playmaker and his fast movements, it surely proves he is not out of the picture.

Too many questions to be answered before making a final call on the player who has taken Chelsea to greater heights. Someone who has been influential every aspect for Chelsea and someone whose leadership is a requisite for Chelsea. Apart from bringing laurels to the club, Fabregas has made a name for himself in past 4 years for Chelsea.

Cesc Fabregas joined Chelsea in 2014 after having had leadership experience in Arsenal. Fabregas has been useful for one way or the other and has had various records attached to his name. In the year 2014 itself, Fabregas made the record of assisting in 6 consecutive matches. Fabregas has never been unnoticed on the field and makes impact everytime he plays. If he does not score, he will assist and if he does not assist, he will keep the possession for the team. The playmaker for Chelsea since 2014 will have his place fought back.

Fabregas has won titles with Chelsea, and if Chelsea wants to triumphant this season again; no doubt Fabregas will be the key man. But what seems likely on the paper is unlikely to happen on the field.

Fabregas may be strong, may have more records attached to his name but what will matter at the end of the is Maurizio Sarri’s decision on and off the field. He surely has Jorginho as his first choice and will be reluctant to make Kovacic or Kante sit on the bench. Fabregas will probably have to adapt to Sarri’s style of play because the skill set requires for a Sarri’s side requires stamina and speed. The aggressive intent will have to be there.

Chelsea will surely have to make a plan for the Spaniard if they want the most decorated player of football to be with them. The Spanish international has a lot to offer and his big match maestros will be useful for Chelsea all day.
