Hakim Ziyech remains a top target for Serie A giants AC Milan who are committed to making a move for the Chelsea midfield talent despite rumours of a potential move dying down in recent weeks.
Speculation had been rife that Ziyech will be calling it quits at Stamford Bridge just a summer into his joining the Blues after failing to cement a first-team berth for his new club.
AC Milan had been positioned as the frontrunners to land the former Ajax playmaker who could be deemed surplus to requirements in this summer’s transfer window by Chelsea should Thomas Tuchel opt to bring in a fresh face for his attacking ranks.
Reports from Italian news outlet Calciomercato claim that AC Milan could look to make the best of their recent working relationship with Chelsea to sign Ziyech on a deal that would initially be a season-long loan agreement but with an obligatory buy clause included.
AC Milan have already raided Chelsea twice this summer with the first purchase being the England defender Fikayo Tomori following which the World Cup-winning striker Olivier Giroud too made the move to San Siro.
