Tottenham Hotspurs are looking at Chelsea’s central defender Kurt Zouma as one of the few names on their shopping list for a new option at the back this summer.
Reports from Sky Sports claim that the 26-year-old Frenchman is wanted by the North London giants who are interested in bolstering their backline before the transfer window’s deadline later this month.
Zouma has been a target for another London-based outfit in West Ham United after it was suggested that the Chelsea man wanted to stay put the capital city than seal a move abroad to Spain as a part of Chelsea’s offer for Sevilla prospect Jules Kounde.
But David Moyes’ West Ham United are no longer in the fray for Zouma with the player’s wage demands considered too inflated by The Hammers who are likely to turn to alternative names in the market for improving their defensive department.
The centre-back is believed to be open to the idea of committing to Chelsea until his current deal expires in the summer of 2023 should a suitable offer not arrive this time around for landing his signature.
