Werner’s goal was one of the two goals he scored in that game against the Saints but his team didn’t manage to take three points as the match ended in a 3-3 draw. Defensive liabilities that were exposed during that time are minimized completely lately and the Blues are rather looking very solid defensively. The Moroccan’s goal which was also his first goal of the Premier League goal helped his team to secure three points against Burnley.
The other goals that fought with these goals were the German winger, Kai Havertz’s clean finish against Southampton, under 18- Jude Soonsup-Bell’s acrobatic goal against Norwich and Chelsea FC Women’s Sam Kerr’s goal against Manchester City.
This seems to be one of the many that Werner will earn as he looks like a goal machine for Frank Lampard’s team lately.
