Thomas Tuchel sets eye on three players he want to bring to Chelsea

The newly-appointed Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has decided the first three players he wants to include in the club in the summer as per football. London reports. The 47-year-old manager took over the managerial post at Stamford Bridge earlier this week after club legend Frank Lampard was removed following a disappointing streak of results.

The German coach has brought in his own ideas and philosophy that he wants to implement at Chelsea and is keen to sign the players he wants at the club this summer.

As per the report, Tuchel is keen on improving the Chelsea defence this coming summer. Tuchel is a big admirer of Bayern Munich’s defender David Alaba and RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano.

Alaba, a vastly experienced defender, will be a free agent at the end of the season. Tuchel is said to be a huge admirer of the Austrian international’s fearless techniques and flawless run in the field. Tuchel could push for his signing, although a host of high-profile clubs are keen on him.

Upamecano is regarded as one of the brightest young defenders in Europe. Upamecano would be a more probable replacement for the 36-year-old Silva in the club. Upamecano is a young prospect and has garnered interests from a number of top European clubs.

Tuchel also wants to try his luck on Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland. The striker is a goal-machine and he is the ideal replacement in the striking position of Chelsea as Olivier Giroud’s contract is expiring and Timo Werner not meeting the expectations. Haaland can be a brilliant long-term addition to the squad and can be crucial in the making of Europe’s best team.
