Spurs are said to have opened talks with Leipzig for Chelsea target Josko Gvardiol who is a top name on Thomas Tuchel’s wishlist for this summer’s transfer window.
Gvardiol has earned rave reviews for his stellar showings in the Bundesliga last term and a move to England’s top flight is tipped to be on the cards for the young Croatian central defender, according to the journalist Nabil Djellit.

However, it is Tottenham Hotspur who might pip local rivals Chelsea to the coveted signature of the 20-year-old Leipzig talent with the North Londoners opening talks over a potential transfer.
Thomas Tuchel’s side would be provided tough competition should they remain keen on bringing in Gvardiol who also has Manchester United joining the chase with the summer window in full swing.
Chelsea are in the market for much-needed defensive reinforcements before the start of the next season following the exits of key duo Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen on free transfers to Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
