Several clubs across Europe keeping close tabs on Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah

Several clubs across Europe are understood to be keeping close tabs on Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah following his reduced first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge.

Chalobah enjoyed a superb breakout campaign in the Chelsea shirt last season with Thomas Tuchel giving the English center-back extended game time following his stellar run of displays.

Tuchel, however, has signed Kalidou Koulibaly this summer to bolster his defensive ranks and is eyeing up another central defender to make up for the twin exits of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen who left earlier in the transfer window.

According to a report from football.london, it is claimed that a host of clubs across Europe have been credited with a strong interest in moving in for Chalobah’s signature, either permanently or in a loan deal.

It remains to be seen whether the Blues head coach Tuchel will be open to parting ways with the highly-rated 23-year-old who can prove to be an important rotation option for Chelsea over the course of the newly commenced season.
