Serie A giants Juventus interested in signing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante

Serie A giants Juventus are said to be interested in signing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante who is out of contract at the Bridge this coming summer.

The World Cup-winning Frenchman’s current terms are due to expire at the end of the season and Chelsea remain far from striking an agreement to renew his deal beyond the summer with Kante rejecting the last offer made to him.

According to a report from the Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb, it is claimed that Juventus are keeping tabs on the midfielder who wants a three year contract to stay put with Graham Potter’s squad in west London.

Kante has spent that majority of this season on the sidelines with an injury and it remains to be seen whether Chelsea, who smashed the British transfer record to sign Enzo Fernandez in the January window, are keen to retain the former’s services.

The 31-year-old is reluctant to accept a two-year contract as he is holding out for a three-plus-one deal with Chelsea also shifting focus towards agreeing upon a new contract for playmaker Mason Mount.
