Last night, Wales had an emphatic victory over the Republic of Ireland. The Reds won 4-1 over their rivals. The victory had something for the Chelsea fans to cheer about. The 17-year-old Chelsea midfielder Ethan Ampadu was the stand-out performer of the night. Just 17 years old and already in the first team of Chelsea proved the fans his worth and why is he in a big club like Chelsea. You don’t need experience when you are a talent like Ampadu.
Ampadu was 67 minutes on the field, and made sure every minute was his. The player looker older than his age with the skills and passes he possessed. Not only he play on the field but also assisted a perfect ball to Ramsey. What was noticeable was his run after tackling the ball from an Irish attacker and running into opponent’s half with full pace, to end up crossing the ball for a super strike from Ramsey.
Surely, the child has potential far over his age and is prospective future for the Blues. Sarri would love the confidence of the kid on and off the ball, who surely seemed like a veteran playing on the field.
