Chelsea wing-back Reece James limped off the pitch the Brighton draw on Wednesday night with a hamstring injury adding to Thomas Tuchel’s woes.
The Blues were held to a 1-1 stalemate at Stamford Bridge by the visiting Brighton outfit who found the leveller through Danny Welback in what was the last kick of the game.
Another draw came as a major setback to Chelsea’s hopes for title glory this season with the west Londoners far behind the table-toppers Manchester City with the latter poised to become the runaway leaders sooner rather than later.
Barring the result on Wednesday, Reece James was added to the ever-increasing injury list for Chelsea with the England international forced off in the first half with hamstring trouble and was pictured leaving the venue on crutches, according to The Daily Mail.
The likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz are also concerns on the injury front for Tuchel despite Havertz being named in the squad last time around following a return to training.
