Real Madrid are believed to be keen on agreeing upon pre-contract terms with long-term target Antonio Rudiger who is out of contract next summer at Stamford Bridge.
Rudiger is a top name on the shopping list for the La Liga bigwigs who are in the transfer market for defensive reinforcements after letting go of star pairing Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos this summer.
With Chelsea unable in their repeated attempts to tie down the 29-year-old Germany international Rudiger to a long-term deal in the English capital city, Real Madrid are plotting to advance their longstanding plans to land the centre-back.
According to reports from Italian news outlet Calcio Mercato ( via The Goal), Carlo Ancelotti’s camp in Madrid are keen on reaching upon an agreement with Rudiger’s representatives as early as January for a transfer to be materialised in the next summer’s transfer window.
The Blues defensive mainstay will be free to talk to other clubs across Europe in January and negotiate a pre-contract agreement with his suitor clubs which also include German giants Bayern Munich.
