Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be set to leave Chelsea for MLS outfit Los Angeles FC just six months into making the move to Stamford Bridge.
The former Arsenal talisman had joined the Blues last summer from FC Barcelona but Aubameyang has failed to impress both Thomas Tuchel and his successor Graham Potter with the striker struggling for consistency in form.
His recent omission from Chelsea’s Champions League squad by Potter to make room for the club’s January signings Enzo Fernandez, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Joao Felix has sparked off fresh speculation over Aubameyang’s future in the Chelsea shirt.
According to a report from Relevo, American side Los Angeles FC are in talks with Chelsea over a potential move to the United States for the 33-year-old Aubameyang who pockets a sizable £250,000-a-week wage with the Blues.
The MLS transfer window is open until April 24 which gives both clubs plenty of time to strike an agreement for Aubameyang’s transfer to the Stateside which is a path that has often been followed by big-name Premier League starts in recent times.
