Petr Cech ready to give 100% performance for Chelsea in the Premier League

Chelsea’s legendary goalkeeper, Peter Cech says that he’s 100 percent ready to stand between the sticks if Chelsea needs him after he was included in the premier league 23-man squad to everybody’s surprise.

Cech has retired from football in the year 2019, ie. the previous year after having a successful career in Stamford Bridge and spending the later years with Arsenal. Before he joined Chelsea in the year 2004, the ex-Czech Republic keeper played for clubs like Chmel Blsany, Sparta Prague as well as Rennes.

But ever since he joined the Blues, he took his performances to an indescribable level. In his more than 300 Chelsea appearances, Cech has won 15 trophies for his team that includes four Premier League titles and a Champions League title as well.

He even managed to win a fifth FA Cup with Arsenal as he moved to the Gunners following his successful Chelsea career in the year 2015. There he had the chance to play under the legendary arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, and retired from football after his team was defeated in the next year at the Europa League final against Chelsea only.

“It’s true that it would have been a professional error to do this if I wasn’t at Premier League level, but that’s not the way we work here,” the Chelsea legend told Telefoot of his surprise return to the senior team.

“I know I’m 100 per cent ready to help if needs be. I’m fit, and with the two months of training, I’ve seen I have the same quality.

“Furthermore, I rested for a year without playing football. It really gave me energy, my body recovered after playing 20 years as a professional. If the circumstances put me on the pitch, I’m ready.”

The 38 years old keeper took the job as a performance advisor and technical director for the Blues this year and convince the club to purchase the Rennes goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy after the horrid performances of Kep and Willy Caballero between the sticks.
