“Mateo is a very technical player and will be very good for us.”

“I think he can play in any postion of the midfield three and is an offensive player, but also very good defensively.”

“He has to work very hard, he is not quite ready yet, but he could be involved. I expect a lot from him because he is a great player and, in my opinion, I still feel he can improve.”

“I am sure Eden will stay with us. I have spoken with him many times in the last 10 days and he has never said anything about Madrid.”

“Eden will be with us this season.”

“I am not worried about Morata. He is a very good player and I think in this moment, he just needs to regain confidence. He is a great player.”

“He needs to score, like all strikers in the world. He is improving and I’m not worried about him.”

Sarri on, If Kante will play today or not?

“I think for Kante’s physical characteristics, he is able to recover very quickly and is ready to play in the next game.”

“Not all players can do this but he can and out of all the World Cup players, I think he has the characteristics to recover the quickest.”

Sarri on Fabregas’ injury

“Fabregas is out of this match, but I hope he can be back on the pitch for next week. It’s nothing serious but he has an unusual injury.”
