English Premier League

Maurizio Sarri before the “Big Game”

Maurizio Sarri had a lot to talk about on the game coming up. Let’s have a look on few of his updates.

Sarri on team news

“As is the usual after being with the national team, we have a few problems. The most serious is with Ampadu and there are problems with Barkley and Hudson-Odoi.

Rudiger has done better in the past two days, just like Kovacic, and I think they will be ok to play.”

Sarri on Belgian

“Of course, Eden is a fantastic player and it will be very important for us if he stayed with us.”

“I think he could win everything with Chelsea, including the Ballon d’Or.

Chelsea are capable of winning the Champions League and the Belgian national team are capable of winning trophies too.”

Sarri on his compatriot

“We are talking about a coach who has won everything. He has won things everywhere he has been and I have to respect him.”

“I think everyone has to respect him. He is a very good coach, a great manager and one of the best in the world.”

Sarri on how United is shaping up

“I’m maybe a little bit surprised by their start but it can happen, we are talking only about eight matches into the season.”

“They are a good team and are doing very well in the Champions League. They are a very strong team and maybe, player by player, they have the strongest team in the Premier League.”

Sarri on Chelsea’s dream start

“I’m very happy with our results but I also think we need to improve.

I think we can still get better and you have to remember we didn’t have a lot of time to work.”

“ I only had eight players on my first day and then we were playing every three days.”

I’ve been happy with our performances but we can still improve(as always conventional Sarri). “
