Eden Hazard is one of those Chelsea player who has played under the era of Mourinho, Conte and Maurizio Sarri. The Belgian international is playing his seventh season with the Blues. His growing fondness did create a sense of tension for the Blues with Real Madrid asking for the striker and Chelsea were relieved of the same after the closing of European transfer window.
The head coach Sarri would have been the happiest to have the forward under his coaching. Hazard has been involved in a goal every match, be it assisting the goal or scoring it. In the first two games, he was given just 20 minutes on the pitch and was successful in making impact in those 20 minutes, providing two assists in two consecutive matches. The next two matches he was given a start and he wasted no time to prove his worth, scoring two match winning goals.
Hazard has thanked Sarri for his style of play and feels that Sarri’s method has helped him play freely.
Hazard told the club’s official website:
“Of course, I like to have the ball. Not in my own half, but in the last 30 metres. I like this type of game, it’s completely different from Antonio Conte or Mourinho before. Like I say, we have more of the ball so for me it’s not bad.”
Such has become the love for Sarri that Hazard disparages over the call to National team and said “I want to keep this momentum. The bad thing is now we go to the national team, we want to just keep playing with Chelsea and win games!”
