Frank Lampard furiously shouted at Marcos Alonso in the dressing room after West Brom match

Chelsea coach Frank Lampard saw his team conceding 3 goals in just 27 minutes against the bottom of the table club, West Brom, a game that ended in a 3-3 draw for the Blues. There were a series of errors in defence which were unacceptable but one incident stood out from the rest.

As per The Athletic, Chelsea left-back, Marcos Alonso was yellow-carded in the eighth minute and Lampard substituted him in the half time. In place of him, Cesar Azpilicueta came in for Chelsea. But there was a furious scene in the dressing room after the match which saw Lampard shouting at Marcos Alonso.

Alonso didn’t sit down on the bench to rest of the match. Instead, he headed towards his team bus after getting subbed off and this made the Chelsea coach very angry. He found him taking his decision with no permission from him or any club official.

Croatian midfielder, Mateo Kovacic who was also subbed off took the bench to support his teammates after a shower, unlike the Spanish defender.

The players inside the dressing room were stunned to see the Chelsea legend. The youngsters described him as the angriest they’ve ever seen him. It is also reported that the players would be surprised to see Alonso play for the Blues ever again after what happened with the coach.
