Juventus are keen to sign Chelsea fullback on a season-long loan deal

The Italian club, Juventus is keen to bring Chelsea’s left-back Emerson Palmieri back to Serie A as per reports. The fullback has been going down the pecking order under Frank Lampard’s reign in Chelsea and is guaranteed to get rarely any minutes this season following the arrival of the highly-rated Ben Chilwell this summer from Leicester City.

Chelsea’s new summer signings have further pushed him down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge after he rarely made a breakthrough into the first team over the course of his whole Chelsea career.

There are speculations that Juventus boards are willing to take the Brazilian International in a loan deal which will have a buy back option or loan extension option. But there are some problems with the Juventus side too. Juve already has three left-backs with the likes of starter Alex Sandro, out of form Mattia De Sciglio and inexperienced young prospect Gianluca Frabotta.

In order to make the deal happen, Juve must let go off any one of the three. Now there were rumours suggesting that Mattia De Sciglio will be shown the exit door after Sarri was sacked but it is not confirmed yet.

The Italian will no doubt be elated to return to his home, with Inter Milan also in the fray for the left-back, and what could be more magnificent than playing for the Italian Champions, Juventus. He suits the Italian outfit’s gameplay and he will definitely hit the ground running unlike what he has done in Chelsea.

If this is sorted out, Chelsea will be more than eager to offload the player. Frank Lampard will be more than happy to balance his books after a huge summer spending this transfer window.
