Chelsea will be facing their old rivals in Liverpool this weekend at Wembley for the cup final, hoping to stop their quadruple hunt.
In addition to that, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has provided an update on Andy Robertson and Fabinho’s fitness ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea.
The Reds are still in contention for four titles this season, despite facing a difficult task in the Premier League. Despite this, in Liverpool’s 2-1 win against Aston Villa on Wednesday night, Klopp rested Mohamed Salah and Thiago.

The pair were later introduced from the bench, but given the importance of the game at Wembley this Saturday, they may appreciate not having to play the entire 90 minutes.
Robertson, on the other hand, was left out of the whole matchday team. After Kostas Tsimikas replaced him in the starting XI, the German said it was a rotational choice.
And on the flip side, Klopp may now wish he had done the same with Fabinho, who limped off with the score at 1-1 after only 30 minutes.

The 54-year-old German coach also mentioned that there will not be many problemsp among his men for the finals except the question mark on Fabinho and Robertson’s match fitness.
“I don’t know [how bad it is]. He [Fabinho] felt the muscle, not too much. He is quite positive but I’m not sure what I can make of that, to be honest. We will see. I think the rest came through without problems.”
“Robbo was not in the squad today because I wanted to give him just a rest at home and bring another striker into the squad if we needed, that’s it.”
Although Robertson is slated to start against Chelsea, the news concerning Fabinho will give Thomas Tuchel’s team hope. The Brazilian is an important presence in the midfield, providing stability and defense protection as the Reds’ attacking powers flourish.
The Merseyside squad is a little more vulnerable without that extra safety net in front of the back four, as we witnessed against Villa, who frequently worried the backline.
