Hazard may sign new record contract with Chelsea

Since the dawn of new season, Hazard has been linked with Real Madrid transfer.

Denying the speculations never seemed to be coming from Hazard, until yesterday.

According to the Sun, Hazard is set to sign a new record contract of £300,000 a week.

Hazard has always made his aspirations of playing for Los Blancos clear but his transfer seems dead.

Chelsea chairman Bruce Burk knew that it would take something huge to make Hazard stay and has apparently offered £300,000 to make him stay.

Hazard is set to remain Chelsea’s breath for many years to come and put pen to paper.

With the confidence put in by new coach of hitting 40 goals a season, Hazard surely can have a U-turn.

But, Real Madrid’s president Ramon Calderon believes it unlikely and feels that Hazard is being proven to be a slave by Chelsea, held helplessly rather than willingly.

Calderon said: “There is no point having a player with you if he doesn’t want to be there.”

“Slavery was abolished a long time ago. Now the point is what Chelsea has decided to do, that will be a matter of money.”

With many questions to answer, Hazard still remains on the verge of an uncertain happening.
