Hazard And Courtois Want Kante At Real Madrid

Former Chelsea stars Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois who are currently at the Spanish capital are reportedly eager to lure another Blues’ star N’golo Kante to the Santiago Bernabeu to join Real Madrid in the January transfer window.

Real Madrid had quite a torturous season last term after the departure of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus. To compensate for his departure, Zinedine Zidane spent a massive amount of transfer funds which exceeded over £300 million in the summer.

The Los Blancos snapped up Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao and Ferland Mendy as well but Real Madrid hasn’t managed to start the new La Liga season as well as expected after drawing two of their opening three games, unable to keep a clean sheet so far.

Zidane has been interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba but it seems that the 26-year-old Frenchman will not be leaving Old Trafford in the winter transfer window as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that the ace midfielder is key to United’s plans for the future.

But it seems that Hazard and Courtois have advised Zidane to make a move for Chelsea’s N’golo Kante instead of Pogba.

Hazard and Courtois helped Chelsea to win two Premier League titles with the West London club and Kante was also part of the feat in 2017. The 28-year-old defensive midfielder has been labeled the best in that slot but he might not come for cheap in the January transfer window as he just signed a massive contract extension with the Blues.
