Chelsea has made up its mind to pursue Borussia Dortmund’s star striker, Erling Haaland with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United, all in the race to get him.
According to journalist Angelo Mangiante and Chelsea’s Official website, the Norwegian striker is at the moment the most desire player in the world due to his prolific goal-scoring records that haven’t stopped even after joining a new club.
Getting Haaland has been one of the topmost priorities of Lampard and the board thinks he is the missing key piece of the puzzle to achieve European glory again. Haaland came into the limelight with his tremendous form with RB Salzburg in the Champions League. He moved to Borussia Dortmund in an £18 million transfer and he hasn’t stopped since then.
He has been continuously scoring goals for fun and there looks no stopping for the teenage goal-scorer. Many top European clubs are therefore pursuing him and as per news, his release clause is £75 million.
Haaland also won the Golden Boy award for the year 2020 and has already scored 17 goals by playing just 14 games. He became the first-ever to score six goals in the first three matches of the UCL. This is the reason why Chelsea’s Marina Granovskaia can go all-in for him.
In this process, several Chelsea players are on the verge of leaving the club and the first one seems like Marcos Alonso who can join Atletico Madrid this winter.
