Former manager Jose Mourinho will push for a return to Chelsea

Former Blues manager Jose Mourinho will push for a return to the Chelsea top job which is up for grabs until the end of the season.

It is believed that the Chelsea co-owner Todd Beohly, who has committed to an extensive search for a longer-term appointment to the Chelsea managerial vacancy, has sounded out Mourinho over a third stint in charge at Stamford Bridge.

According to a report from The Sun, it is claimed that the AS Roma boss Mourinho could consider a move back to west London where he still has a family home with Chelsea looking to hire the veteran manager.

Mourinho has enjoyed success with Roma who sit third in the Serie A standings and won the Europa Conference League last season and the Portuguese coach has been linked with a number of clubs across the land.

While French giants Paris Saint-Germin have been tipped as contenders to bring in the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Saudi Arabia club Al-Nassr are also stepping up their efforts to secure his services.
