Ethan Ampadu had recently signed a new five-year contract with Chelsea on his 18th birthday. A lot of expectations have been dropped already on his shoulders by many plaudits with their praises and belief that the teenager will be a future sensation.
Ethan Ampadu has already been billed as better than many at 18, and Cledwyn Ashford, welfare officer for Wales U15s was no way out of praises. Too much to speak about the teenager, Ashford said:
“I expect great things of Ethan Ampadu. He has an ability but also an attitude and I’m sure in the future, if he’s still there he’ll become a Chelsea captain and I’m sure he’ll become a Welsh captain.”
