Timo Werner earns a recall back into the first XI for Chelsea who play hosts to Brentford in Saturday’s west London derby at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues would be hoping to claim the three points from the derby showdown as they look to cement their top four berth in the league table.
Christensen remains on the bench
Andreas Christensen, who looks imminent to exit the Chelsea camp come the summer to sign for Barcelona, is on the bench for today’s contest with Thiago Silva joining Antonio Rudiger in the heart of the defence.
Tuchel drafts a four-man backline with the skipper Cesar Azpilicueta slotting in the right-back role and Marcos Alonso on the other side of the pitch.
Loftus-Cheek handed rare start
N’Golo Kante and Mason Mount are joined by the England international Ruben Loftus-Cheek in a rare league outing for the latter.
In the final third of the pitch, the in-form Kai Havertz partners his fellow German Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech with Romelu Lukaku on the bench.
