Christian Pulisic To Return to Chelsea Sooner

According to the latest reports, Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic will return to the club sooner than expected by cutting short his spell with the USA at the current international break.

Pulisic is set to feature for the United States men’s national team in their friendly against neighbors south of the border Mexico in New Jersey in the early hours of Friday morning and from there he was set to travel to 950 miles to St. Louis, Missouri, for a friendly against Uruguay on Wednesday. From Missouri, the 20-year-old forward would then have a 10-hour flight back to London just days before Chelsea’s clash with Wolves at Molineaux on Saturday afternoon.

However, recent reports claim that Pulisic is withdrawing from the game against Uruguay in order to return to Chelsea sooner to prepare for the game against Wolves. The American superstar is keen to work alongside Englishman Frank Lampard and will return to Stamford Bridge early just as he did at the start of the new Premier League season.

The attacking midfielder, who is set to arrive ahead of schedule after the international break heaped praise on his 41-year-old manager and said, “It’s amazing. I mean, it’s everything I hoped it would be and more.

Pulisic went on to add, “It’s incredible; it worked out really well, for sure. Frank’s a great guy and he’s helped me so much and he understands where I’m coming from and he’s done a really good job and helped me, teaching us, especially a lot of the younger guys on the team”
