Christian Pulisic remains uncertain over his future in the Chelsea shirt

Christian Pulisic sounded uncertain about his future in the Chelsea shirt when he was quizzed upon the speculation linking him with a move away from west London in the January window.

A number of teams across the continent are understood to be keen to sign the USMNT star who has failed to earn regular first team football at Stamford Bridge this season despite the change of managers.

Speaking to Indirect Podcast ( via The Daily Mirror), Pulisic admitted he could be on his way out the exit door as the former Borussia Dortmund winger gears up to return to the Chelsea fold from his World Cup duty.

“I mean, right now I’m absolutely back at Chelsea and focused and ready to finish the season, but you know how things work in football. Things change quickly and anything can happen.

“At the moment I am just pushing myself in training and working at Chelsea because that’s where I am right now.”

Pulisic has struggled for game time under the new Chelsea boss Graham Potter and the player, who is wanted by the likes of Newcastle United and his old club Dortmund, is turning out to be a coveted name in the transfer market.

With Chelsea pursuing swoops for RB Leipzig talisman Christopher Nkunku and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, it appears certain that Pulisic would be deemed surplus to requirements come next summer at the earliest.
