Chelsea winger Kenedy’s move to Flamengo hits a major roadblock

Chelsea’s plans of offloading the out-of-favour wide player Kenedy to Brazil club Flamengo might not go through this summer with Thomas Tuchel’s side after a loan fee to ship out the player.

Reports from football.london claim that Chelsea want to be paid a loan fee to part ways with Kenedy who is a top target for Flamengo in this summer’s transfer window.

The Brazillian attacker spent the last season on loan at La Liga outfit Granada where he found the back of the net four times in 28 top-flight outings.

Thomas Tuchel himself has been on the hunt for fresh blood to induct into his attacking department ahead of the start of the new campaign with Chelsea enduring mixed fortunes in front of the last season where the Stamford Bridge new boys Timo Werner and Kai Havertz failed to meet the heavy expectations that had surrounded their transfers.

Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland remains Tuchel’s top name on the summer shopping list despite Dortmund’s repeated reluctance to sanction his sale as he is viewed as pivotal to their plans for the next season.
