Chelsea go up against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday with Thomas Tuchel’s men eyeing the coveted trophy.
The Blues last turned out midweek in the Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie and recorded a 2-0 win over French side Lille courtesy of goals from Kai Havertz and Christan Pulisic.
With their Premier League title push faltering as the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool race ahead, Chelsea will hope to make it count in the cup competition and clinch another piece of silverware under Tuchel’s management.
Liverpool are likely to be a stern opponent for the Stamford Bridge giants come Sunday in the English capital with the Merseyside Reds heading into the contest on the back of a 6-0 thumping of Leeds United.
