Chelsea target Robert Lewandowski open to Bayern Munich exit this summer

Bayern Munich talisman Robert Lewandowski is open to a change of scenery this summer amid strong interest brewing in the striker from Chelsea and Manchester United who are on the hunt for a new No.9.

Lewandowski is a name that has emerged on Chelsea’s radar since the turn of the year and with the Blues now desperate to add to their attacking options, the Bayern man fits the ball for a proven goalscorer required by Thomas Tuchel.

Last summer’s marquee signing Timo Werner has failed to meet the expectations that had surrounded his big-money transfer and following Romelu Lukaku’s assertion that he is not leaving Inter Milan, Tuchel will set his sights elsewhere for a fresh face.

Reports from Spanish news outlet AS claim that Lewandowski has indicated his willingness to sealing a move to clubs that have made their interest in him well-documented one of whom happens to the Blues.

Real Madrid’s interest in the Polish international, however, could be of concern to Tuchel and Chelsea with the La Liga giants holding more weightage in terms of financial power to pull off Lewandowski’s signing ahead of other rival clubs.
