Chelsea target Milan Skriniar could be available for a knockdown fee

Chelsea target Milan Skriniar could be available for a knockdown fee after Inter Milan failed to tie him down to a new deal despite the long drawn-out contract talks.

Skriniar had emerged on the radar of the Stamford Bridge giants in the summer when the then-Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel had been searching for reinforcements to bolster his defensive ranks.

According to a report from the French news outlet Le10Sport ( via The Daily Mirror), it is claimed that Inter could be set to lose out on Skriniar in a cut price deal with the San Siro outfit willing to accept a €30 million fee to green-light his exit.

This could come as a welcome boost on the transfer front to the new Chelsea manager Graham Potter who is looking to add to his backline in the coming transfer windows and would be interested in moving in for the highly-rated Skriniar.

Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are the other contenders for the defender’s signature which is likely to cost less than half the summer asking price much to the delight of his suitors.
