Emerson who has shipped out on a season-long loan spell this summer to Ligue 1 side Lyon is reportedly in line to be recalled by his parent club with Tuchel intensifying the efforts, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Romano adds that the west London heavyweights are willing to table a compensation for Lyon should they approve the loan recall request of the Italy international wing-back with Chelsea suffering a major setback in the chase for Lucas Digne.
The Everton outcast is rumoured to be nearing his move to Aston Villa who have pipped the Blues to the Frenchman’s signature as he looks to find a new club with the January transfer window now underway.
