Chelsea remain interested in signing AC Milan star forward Rafael Leao who has entered the final 18 months of his contract at San Siro.
Leao has been linked with a move the Bridge in the recent past with the highly-rated Portugal attacker emerging as a top name on Chelsea’s shopping list with the Blues keen to reinforce their front line.

The player’s current terms with Milan are due to expire in 2024 but the Serie A club’s director Frederic Massara has insisted that there is a “mutual willingness” to agree on an extension which could play spoilsport to Chelsea’s plans of signing the winger.
According to a report from football.london, Chelsea and Real Madrid have both been big admirers of the Milan talent but the player has been reluctant to make the move elsewhere over fears of not having a starter role at either club.
Chelsea spent big on recruiting two attacking players in Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk as their January signings, however, both players have earned limited game time for the west London outfit.
