Chelsea midfielder Jorginho hints at summer exit for former club Napoli

Chelsea midfield general Jorginho has added fuel to fire over speculation concerning his possible exit this summer for Serie A club Napoli with his recent comments over the unruly weather in England.

The Italy international has been linked with a move to his former side Napoli despite the 28-year-old gaining ground as new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel’s go-to man in the centre of the park.

With rumours floating around that Jorginho’s ex-Napoli and Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri could once again take charge of the Italian outfit, the Blues first-teamer is seen as a possible target for Napoli heading into the summer transfer window.

Speaking with Canale21 in an interview, Jorginho admitted he missed the city of Naples while passing a dig at the weather of London when asked to comment upon his love for his former colours.

“There are no words to describe how much I miss Naples.

“Who wouldn’t miss Naples? It’s so cold in London, they don’t even know what the sun is!”

The player’s agent had also recently sought to intensify the rumour mongering by suggesting that should an offer be tabled by Napoli, it would be subject to evaluation with much interest from him and his client Jorginho.
