Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar who is linked with a move away from the French giants ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
The proposed head coach at Stamford Bridge, Mauricio Pochettino, is said to have given his approval to sanction a move for Neymar with PSG certain of parting company with the Brazilian attacker.
According to a report from The Daily Express, it is claimed that Chelsea are among the clubs credited with an interest in moving in for Neymar’s signature as Pochettino would be granted a significant budget to address Chelsea’s squad concerns.
Neymar’s representatives have conveyed that a £75 million would be enough to prise away the former Barcelona talent from the Parisians and Chelsea, who are close to appointing Neymar’s former PSG manager Pochettino, are keen on the transfer.
Pochettino is said to be hopeful of bringing in a fresh pair of legs to reinforce Chelsea’s front line with loanee Romelu Lukaku tipped for a return to his parent club this summer after a season-long loan spell with Inter.
