According to SportsBild,Chelsea and Arsenal along with La Liga clubs Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid are closely monitoring the situation of RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo this summer.
The Spanish attacker has a release clause of £51.7 million (€60 million), which isn’t a big fee for a club like Chelsea. Olmo is a versatile attacking midfielder capable of playing in all three forward positions and as a number 10.
He has already scored two goals in the current season, and it seems that Mikel Arteta is an admirer of his skills. Personally, the 25-year-old has a preference for a move to Barcelona, but the allure of playing in the Premier League could also be tempting for him.
Given the likelihood of offering Champions League football, Arsenal appears to have an advantage compared to Chelsea. Also, Olmo may be inclined to work with a fellow countryman in Arteta rather than Mauricio Pochettino.

The Gunners boasts four highly skilled attacking midfielders, including Fabio Vieira, Emile Smith Rowe, Kai Havertz, and Martin Odegaard.
Furthermore, Arteta’s squad features quality wingers in Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. This array of talent could make the club an attractive destination for Olmo.
Unless they are planning to offload one or more players, it might be challenging for the manager to find a spot for Olmo in the team.
On the other hand, Chelsea have shown a desire to spend big in recent transfer windows, and this trend could persist under Pochettino.

The Argentine manager requires time to reshape the squad to align with his preferences, and the club’s board might grant him the financial backing to secure the services of Olmo through an attractive transfer deal.
