Chelsea interested in a move to sign Swedish ace Roony Bardghji

Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for 17-year-old Swedish attacker Roony Bardghji, as per the Sun.

The Sweden U21 international gained attention by scoring an 87th-minute winner against Manchester United in the Champions League group stage.

Chelsea, among several Premier League clubs, are said to be interested in securing the young talent.

The Blues, under Todd Boehly’s ownership, have been investing significantly in young talent, and their interest in Bardghji dates back to the Roman Abramovich era, with rumours surfacing in 2021.

The West Londoners face competition from other English clubs, including Newcastle United and Crystal Palace, in the race to sign the talented teenager.

Notably, 10 of those goals have come in 23 outings during the current season. His crucial late winner against Man United showcased his impact, marking his 10th goal in 23 senior appearances across all competitions this season, with seven goals in 15 Danish Superliga games.

The teenager’s outstanding performances have garnered attention from prominent clubs, making him an attractive player that Chelsea can acquire next summer.
