Chelsea could offload key players for Dortmund to reach agreement over Erling Haaland’s transfer

Thomas Tuchel could be enticed to part ways with his first-team stars at Stamford Bridge with the race to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland heating up leading into this summer’s transfer window.

Reports from the Express claim that the Blues are in line to include the likes of Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham among others to convince Dortmund in sanctioning Haaland’s sale.

Werner and Pulisic on the way out?

Nearly a summer into his big-money move from RB Leipzig, Timo Werner has failed to meet the expectations that had surrounded his arrival in West London and Tuchel might be forced to offload the German back to his homeland.

Another forward on the fringes of the Chelsea first-team plans is former Dortmund man Christian Pulisic and the American’s recent lack of game time could take him out the exit door at the Bridge.

Tuchel could be forced to offload new recruit Hakim Ziyech

The Moroccan international, another purchase of Chelsea’s lavish spending last summer, has struggled for consistency in his showings despite showing sparks of brilliance every now and then.

Ziyech’s inability to fit in his new surroundings could hasten his departure from Chelsea as Tuchel eyes a move for long-term target Haaland with the Norway international courted by European heavyweights Real Madrid and Manchester City.
