Callum Hudson-Odoi would ‘Love’ Sancho at Chelsea

Blues winger Callum Hudson-Odoi said he would “love” to team up with Borussia Dortmund superstar and Manchester United target Jadon Sancho at Chelsea next season.

The 20-year-old Sancho has been a player in demand following his exploits for Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund over the past two seasons, with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea reportedly in a race for the England international’s signature in the summer.

The Red Devils are believed to be favourites to sign Sancho and lure him at Old Trafford, ahead of Chelsea, but English winger Hudson-Odoi would like to see his good friend at Stamford Bridge in the near future.

While speaking in an Instagram Live session recently, the 19-year-old Chelsea youth academy product Hudson-Odoi stated that he is doing well after testing positive for coronavirus and hinted at Sancho with a potential move to Stamford Bridge in the summer. “We make sure that we’re both doing well, obviously he’s doing amazing and having a great season, We’re always making sure each other is good. Obviously, he’s a great player, I love playing with him – he’s a great player to play with.”

The duo has also represented the national side together and have great chemistry with each other, “For England as well we’ve played all the way through the ages so the link-up has always been there. I played against him sometimes in the Youth Cup games or we would play each other for England, the link-up has always been there and we’ve always loved playing with each other. The way we play with each other we just know where each other is on the pitch every time and we just love to play with each other.”

Hudson-Odoi further explained that he would ‘love’ for Sancho to join the blue side of London because it would be great to link up at Chelsea, “I don’t know [if he’ll come]. Of course, I would love it if he came to Chelsea.
“We’ve had a great partnership throughout, the way we play with each other is amazing. If he came, the link-up will still be there.”
