According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich have formally presented a loan proposal to Chelsea for goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. The offer entails a loan deal with a potential buy option next summer.
Bayern are actively seeking a replacement goalkeeper following the announcement that German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer would be unavailable for the beginning of the forthcoming season.
Following a leg break during a skiing trip, Neuer faced an injury that sidelined him for the latter half of the previous season.
Although the veteran keeper resumed light training during pre-season, he realized he wasn’t fully recovered and could potentially be sidelined for several months.

In response to this situation, manager Thomas Tuchel reportedly instructed the club to pursue Arrizabalaga as a solution.
Tuchel is familiar with Arrizabalaga’s abilities, having managed him during their time together at Chelsea, even though the latter predominantly served as the backup to Edouard Mendy.
Chelsea have been attempting to offload their player for a long time. However, the Spaniard’s wage demands have continued to create problems.
Although they seem to have identified a prospective buyer, it remains uncertain whether they will accept Bayern’s proposal.

Chelsea have secured the services of Robert Sanchez and are reportedly pursuing additional goalkeeping options, such as Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia and Gregor Kobel from Borussia Dortmund.
Back in January 2018, Real Madrid plotted to sign Arrizabalaga, but Zinedine Zidane opposed the move, leading the Blues to secure his services when Thibaut Courtois moved to Real Madrid later that summer.
