According to Marca, Atletico Madrid have received an offer to sign Chelsea star left-back Marc Cucurella.
Cucurella has struggled to meet the high expectations placed on him following his move from Brighton & Hove Albion to Chelsea in a costly €65 million transfer last summer.
Similarly to many of his teammates, the Spanish player had a disappointing season as Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League standings.
Despite making 33 appearances across various competitions, Cucurella faced significant criticism for his performances. Matters worsened for the former Barcelona star when he was subjected to jeering from Chelsea fans during an away game against West Ham United while being substituted.

The former Getafe player may join the extensive list of departures from Stamford Bridge as Chelsea aims to trim their wage bill and adhere to Financial Fair Play regulations.
Newcastle United have emerged as a potential destination for the 24-year-old, as they seek to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming Champions League campaign.
There were also rumours of a return to La Liga for Cucurella, with Atletico Madrid considering him as a backup option in case their primary target, Javi Galan, doesn’t sign for them.
