Al-Nassr are credited with an interest in signing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante who is out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
The Blues have not been able to tie down the World Cup-winning French maestro to extended terms with Kante holding out for a three-year extension which has been to the liking of the Chelsea board.
According to a report from Foot Mercato ( via The Daily Mirror), it is claimed that Saudi outfit Al-Nassr, who are said to be close to signing Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, are also mulling over a swoop for Kante’s signature next summer.
Al-Nassr are keen to bring in Kante on a free transfer when his contract in west London expires as the midfielder looks set to enter free agency when the campaign ends with Europe’s biggest clubs eyeing up his services.
Recent rumours had suggested that La Liga giants FC Barcelona were the clear frontrunners to land Kante from Chelsea in summer 2023 with the Camp Nou outfit readying a pre-contract agreement for the former Leicester City man.
