AC Milan readying opening offer for Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech

AC Milan are readying their opening offer for Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech who is increasingly likely to call it quits at Stamford Bridge in the upcoming January transfer window.

The Moroccan international, who has impressed for his country at the ongoing World Cup, has fallen down the pecking order in the Chelsea fold with the situation failing to improve even after the change in the dugout.

According to a report from football.london, it is claimed that the Serie A champions AC Milan are close to launching an opening offer to sign Ziyech on a six-month loan with a £13 million option to buy.

Ziyech has been subject to curtailed game time of late at the Bridge and despite Graham Potter being brought in to replace Thomas Tuchel in the dugout, the former Ajax playmaker has failed to cement a berth on the team sheet.

His exit from the Blues could open the door for new signings to arrive with Potter expected to dip into the market come January for fresh blood to provide the firepower to his underwhelming front line.
