Now, the club has its eyes set on the selection of head coach. Since the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino on Wednesday, there has been numerous rumors associated with Chelsea.
Although there is no clear favourite yet, Kieran McKenna and Enzo Maresca have proved themselves as likely contenders and fans still hold high hopes for Roberto De Zerbi. Despite this, there is still a big question as to who will take up the position of the Chelsea manager.
However, there is more work for the management to do in the next few days as the summer transfer window is set to open next month. It is believed that the club will unveil several new additions to the Cobham training ground this season.
Chelsea has invested a lot of money in the recent past and the signings looked like they could go on with a bid to make the squad stronger.

De Zerbi has spoken about his goals and his focus when being interviewed by Sky Sports in February. He said, “Now, we believe that we can write another chapter of Brighton’s success story again. When I hear that the big teams have an interest in me, it’s good to hear that you are proud of it but I am just focused with my work day by day”.
De Zerbi also revealed his dreams in his career saying, “I would like in my career to compete to win the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga, and Champions League But there is no time limitation as if when you have to go and compete or wait some more time.”
Roberto De Zerbi expressed his deep connection to AC Milan, saying, “Milan, for me, is not a normal club because as a player, I was born in AC Milan. For my life, I will always be grateful for Milan. I love my country, I love Italy, I love Italian football. For sure, one of my targets is to go back and work in my country, but I don’t know when the time will be.”
As Chelsea prepares for a new chapter, the appointment of a new head coach will be crucial in shaping the club’s future. The next head coach will need to navigate the demands of the UEFA Conference League and the Premier League while integrating new signings into the squad. “Whether it will be De Zerbi or another candidate,” Chelsea management stated, “the new head coach will have the challenging task of leading Chelsea back to the top of European football.”
